Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]? Are you [actually] unaware or ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life]?
Romans 2:4 AMP

The LORD’s forgiveness is for peace and His grace is for growth, allowing us time to mature into our purpose. He does not leave us as we started this journey, we are to grow up!

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”. Fulfilling the work He created in advance for us to do. This is for His glory and your improvement.

We are not to squander grace by continuing in sin! (ten virgins) Know that it is there for our help on this walk home. Though we stumble and may even fall, we are not too wallow in or stay there. We are to get up, and keep moving forward. When we realize this goodness is not about condemning your fall it should lead you to repentance and care to not enter in theses situations again.

So what do we do? Keep on sinning so God can keep on forgiving? I should hope not! If we’ve left the country where sin is sovereign, how can we still live in our old house there? Or didn’t you realize we packed up and left there for good? That is what happened in baptism. When we went under the water, we left the old country of sin behind; when we came up out of the water, we entered into the new country of grace—a new life in a new land!
